the craving hits midday. you just need a jolt of energy, a small hit, a tiny glance, a draft, or a quick check in. what's the harm, you think?

larger than you thought. more harmful on your self worth than much else these days.

abstinence. not something you know, but it helps. abstain. do not do it. do the opposite of what you feel.

"don't abandon me, don't do it. i hate you. i hate everything."

a thousand forms of fear creep into your subconscious, wanting to run riot with your thoughts and the actions that follow them.

people are relying on you to keep it together.

your future is up to the universe, not you. it was never in your hands, not really. if it was, chaos followed. remember when...

breathe in and out, then in and out again.  pause, relax. don't struggle.

remind yourself it will pass.

reach out to someone who understands.

do. the. work. work. work. work.

it's already becoming second nature.
