one that teaches me self compassion
one that teaches me the art of letting go
one that teaches me that I am good
that calm is good
why my tendency is to make waves
why my tendency is to muddy waters
why my tendency is to ruffle feathers
that true intimacy exists
that I don't need to be scared
that communication is possible
that someone can be devoted
that chivalry, however dated it may be, is not dead
you will be a lifelong lesson
a great teacher
of my unknown
one who allowed me to clear
the cobwebs and the dust
and ultimately
the fear.
